Sorry Zara
I’m not a size small anymore
My belly has grown and shrunk
Shifted and remade
Held and caged
All My hopes and dreams
It’s new shape is stronger, tougher
My arms have thickened
In response to
The increased load
In the day to day
Of the little fat folds
That I’ve made
With my own proper nourishment
Funnelling through my own body
Watermelon streaks
Shining in my birthday suit
Reflecting in the mirror
What a miracle it is
That I’m no longer Considered
A single size in your store
I did walk out with a dress and a purse
But threw twenty others out the fitting room door
Sorry Zara, I don’t know what size I am anymore
I do know, I am more than enough
